Guilty

Located in the second basement of a listed building it was originally designed and functioned as a cinema hall for more than four decades. The imposing geometry of the original structure, perfectly defined by the symmetrical plan as well as reinforced by the strong rhythm of the rounded columns, has been enhanced by the use of period furniture and fittings, mixed with industrial elements. The coherent whole provides a sense of timelessness and surprisingly ‘decadent’ luxury that contradicts both deliberate darkness and abandonment of the 10 meters height entrance staircase.
