Restaurant
320 sq.m. on two levels
George Savvatoupis / Gshot
Generous, gallant, risky through endeavor to upgrade an established brand, with its own and faithful clientele, for over than 25 years, in stable and distinctive successful function.
Both ground and floor levels are organized in “protected” and semi open zones. The unifying void, two levels height, is reshaped in a semicircular contour, accentuated by an interrupted metallic ballustrade, enhanced by a continuous overhanged feature, tracing the purposeful lowered ceiling’s level. The custom made lighting feature amplifies the whole, focusing upon the show kitchen area.
Through the overall space redesign, the whole results a tempered sense of modern luxury counterbalanced by intentional alternating superposed features, textures and materials, reminiscent of bygone “upper class taverna” ambiance.
